If you are thinking about donating to a shelter in need, but don’t have the monetary funds to do so, you still have many options available to you. You can donate things that the shelter may need for their animals’ upkeep, such as blankets, toys, bowls, brushes, treats, food, collars or leashes. Or you can donate things that the shelter can auction off at fundraising events such as drawings and paintings, needle work, photos, or ceramics.
